Representatives of the TESLA Alliance Visited the Free Zone Apatin

Representatives of the International TESLA Alliance paid a working visit to the city of Apatin (Republic of Serbia), where they held a meeting with the management of the Free Zone Apatin.
The meeting was attended by:
Mr. Roman Pavlovich, Director of TESLA Alliance HQ;
Mr. Konstantin Naumov, Head of TESLA INVESTMENT CLUB;
Mr. Danijel Ajduk, Director of D.O.O ZA UPRAVLJANJE SLOBODNOM ZONOM “APATIN” FREE ZONE APATIN;
Ms. Maja Divjak, Deputy Director.
The visit was organized by Metacognis Institute, represented by Mr. Jovica Petrović.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for international cooperation, as well as the opportunities that the Free Zone Apatin offers to foreign investors and companies interested in developing business operations in Serbia and the Balkans.
Particular attention was given to:
tax and customs incentives available within the free zone;
Apatin’s strategic geographical position on the Danube River;
opportunities for export-oriented manufacturing;
the logistics potential of the region;
conditions for the localization of industrial and infrastructure projects.
The Free Zone Apatin is considered one of the promising investment locations in Serbia. The zone is situated in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, in close proximity to the European Union borders, and provides access to the Pan-European Transport Corridor VII via the Danube River. Companies operating within the zone benefit from significant tax and customs advantages, including VAT exemptions and customs duty relief for certain categories of goods and equipment.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further develop cooperation and jointly promote the investment potential of the Free Zone Apatin at international TESLA Alliance events, including investment forums, business missions, and industry conferences aimed at entrepreneurs and investors from Europe, the Balkans, Central Asia, and BRICS+ countries.
