Serbia and Tajikistan Create a Platform to Promote Serbian Agri-Technologies in Central Asia
AGRO TAG (TESLA Alliance) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Sughd Region of the Republic of Tajikistan are developing a new cooperation platform connecting Serbian agri-technology manufacturers with companies across Central Asia. The initiative has received official support from the Chamber.
The new platform is designed to become a practical entry point for Serbian manufacturers into Central Asian markets, while giving companies in the region more direct access to modern technologies, equipment and manufacturers from Serbia.
The initiative goes beyond the presentation and supply of agricultural machinery. Its purpose is to build a working infrastructure around technology: establishing direct B2B links, developing dealer and service networks, training local specialists, and exploring opportunities for the localization of selected production and service processes. These areas are part of the cooperation framework developed by AGRO TAG and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Sughd Region.
In the longer term, this may lead not only to the introduction of new Serbian technologies in Central Asia, but also to the development of local expertise, service centers and jobs related to the assembly, production and maintenance of advanced agricultural equipment.
The initiative focuses on technologies for soil cultivation, seeding, crop protection, specialized harvesting, horticulture, vegetable production, storage and agricultural processing.
One of the key objectives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Sughd Region and AGRO TAG is to turn interest in technology into practical action as quickly as possible: identifying the right solution, establishing direct contact with the manufacturer, and discussing supply, service, demonstrations and further cooperation.
To support this work, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Sughd Region and AGRO TAG invite local partners, distributors, service companies and agricultural enterprises to join the initiative and discuss possible forms of cooperation.
